Lauren joins The B.A.T.T. Academy after a stellar high school and college career. The three time first team All-Metro softball player helped lead Mount De Sales (2004) and Archbishop Spalding (2005, 2006) to three consecutive IAAM titles. She led those teams in almost every offensive category while serving as team captain. Lauren was also honored as a two time All-Baltimore City/County, two time All- Anne Arundel County, two time MVP and four time IAAM All Star.

After earning a scholarship to UMBC Lauren was a key offensive contributor for four years earning America East All-Rookie and All America East honors.  A career .300 hitter,  she helped her team to the America East Championship Series all four years. She graduated in May 2011 from UMBC with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science.
