Jack Crandell has spent parts of six decades playing and teaching the game of fastpitch softball.  He is a nationally-renowned windmill pitching instructor with an impressive list of accolades.  He is the founder and director of Anne Arundel County Windmill Pitching Clinics and has been operating clinics through this organization since 1982.  Hundreds of young ladies from the clinics have went on to play collegiate softball over the years, many of which have earned scholarships and various accolades themselves.  Crandell has helped develop several College All-Americans, and has made a positive impact on so many young ladies lives here in Maryland and beyond.

2010- Inducted into the Maryland Old Timers Fast Pitch Hall of Fame

1998- Inducted into the Anne Arundel County Sports Hall of Fame
