David Fletcher

Dave Fletcher, Instructor
Started and currently runs the Mid-Atlantic Catchers Camp, focused on increasing the local catching talent through solid training fundamentals and focus on mechanics, generally taught only at competitively higher levels. David currently works with the San Francisco Giants as an Associate Scout and coaches a 11U Full-Time travel team for the Little Maryland Orioles.
Prior to that, as a Professional Player, David played for the Zainesville Greys of the Frontier League in South Texas, batting .312 and hitting 18 Homeruns; Prior to that he played for the Sioux City Explorers of the now defunct Northern League, after catching for the Florida Marlins Minor League, Erie Sailors of the NY-Penn League; Prior to his stint with the Marlins, he played for the Winchester Royals of the Valley League under current KC Royals GM, Dayton Moore; Prior to playing with the Royals, David played for the Cotuit Kettleers in the Cape Cod League. Before heading to the Cape, he played for the Schenectady Mohawks of the NCBL in upstate New York.
During David’s College career at George Washington University, he earned All-Conference Catcher Honors in his Junior and Senior years, and won the conference championship twice in his four years there, earning automatic bids into the College Regional Championships. During his High School career, David was an All-State selection in his senior year at Dundalk High School, batting .483 and played in the Crown High School All-Star Game in Memorial Stadium.
