Guided the Shorebirds to a first place finish and spot in the playoffs last season… Made his managerial debut in 2004 at Bluefield… Was a coach at Aberdeen the previous two years… Spent his first two seasonsas field coach at Bluefield after returning to the Orioles in 2000… Was a Mid-Atlantic area scout for the San Diego Padres, 1996-1999… Also served as a coach for Idaho Falls (Rookie) his final 2 seasons with the Padres.. Was a part-time scout with the Orioles, 1991-1995, and during that time also threw batting practice for the major league team…Coahced collegiatedly at the Community College of Baltimore (‘87-’89) and at Towson State University (‘90-’91)… Personal: Is a 1981 graduate of Sparrows Point High School in Baltimore and at Atlantic Christian College, where he received hi degree in 1987.
